Caldwell County Emergency Medical Service

Caldwell County EMS provides emergency medical care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  In addition to advanced life support with Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians, Caldwell County EMS also provides a taxi service and a convalescent wheelchair van service.  Additionally, CCEMS services include non-emergency scheduled transportation of non-ambulatory individuals to outpatient clinics, nursing/physician facilities, and hospitals.

Caldwell County Extension Office

The Caldwell County Extension Office is the local office of the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. Based in the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, the mission is to make a difference in the lives of Kentucky citizens through research-based education.  The Extension Office serves all people regardless of race, color, age, sex, religion, disability, or national origin.  Programming in five key areas is provided:

Health Department

The goal of the Caldwell County Health Department is to serve the citizens of Caldwell County by promoting good health practices, preventing disease, and protecting their health and welfare.  To achieve that goal the Health Department offers the following services:
