Five independently elected officials represent the citizens of Caldwell County on the Fiscal Court. The Judge Executive is elected at large by residents of the entire county and serves as the chief executive of the county. Each of the four magistrates is elected by citizens of, and reside in, four separate districts.
The Fiscal Court is responsible for setting policy, enacting ordinances, approving the budget, and other services. Please

The Fiscal Court meets twice a month. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Caldwell County Courthouse. Meetings begin at 9am and are open to the public.
